PEOPLE... TUNE YOUR ANTENNA AND CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS BEFORE KNOCKING THIS OR ANY RADIO. I bought this radio as a stand by while price shopping for a replacement for my "big" radio. I had planned to later mount it on my ATV because of the front facing speaker. It now lives in my truck with my other radio. I'm buying one for my Wife's truck to go with her other Cobra, and will buy one again for my ATV. More radios should have scan and front facing speakers. Thanks Cobra !!!

My Husband bought one to use temporarily in his truck. We liked it so much we got one for my truck too. We have a lot of gas well workers in our area now. They are out on the back roads more than the big rigs and every company uses a different channel. The scan feature allows us to monitor road conditions all over the tri county area. We leave the "29 ltd" on ch. 19 while we use the "18" on scan.

I used to have this cb radio and it worked excellent. Then i bought a uniden marine band radio to replace it for something better but now Im becoming a storm chaser and going back to a cb radio and definitely be going with cobra

Loved the compct design and weather feature, hate the reception. I had this radio hooked to the same cobra antenna as my 29ltd and couldnt get out more than 1/8th mile. The soundtracker is worthless.
